Places to Go
Oregon has cities that are rural, next to the seaside, in the mountains with a plethora of different scenaries. There are 7 different regions that make up this state: Southern Oregon, Central Oregon, the Coast, Portland Metropoliton Region, the Willamette Valley, Eastern Oregon, and Mount Hood & Columbia River Gorge.
This state is unique, hosting the nation's largest lake - Crater Lake - and the largest cheese factory in the world! This state also has the shortest river but the deepest river gorge! They also have lots of hazelnuts, since it's the only state having an official state nut!

Portland
Found in Eastern Oregon - Portland has it's own TV show named after them - "Portlandia" and has the world's smallest park! This city also has more breweries in it's city than any other in the world! Here in Portland is also were the "Nike" brand was founded!

With an interesting name, Bend is a small city in Oregon that has lots of Mountains and lakes. If you like sunshine, this is the place for you as Bend has the highest number of sunny days out of all of Oregon! If you're a dog lover they also have more than 40 restuarunts that are doggo friendly!

Sisters
Sisters is known as the "Gateway to the Cascades" and got it's name from "Three Sisters" referring to the Three Sister Mountains. The pioneers knew these mountains as 'Faith' being the North Sister, 'Hope' being the Middle sister and 'Charity' being the South sister!

Ranking as the 8th largest city in Oregon - Medford is known for it's old dormant volcano named 'Roxy Ann Peak" that's been around for over 30 million years! Apprently Bigfoot has made quite a few appearances in this city in Southern Oregon!

If you are a history buff - Astoria is the oldest city in all of Oregon, being known as the first American settlement that's west of the Rocky Mountains. John Astor is who this city is named over since he founded the city back in the early 1800s!
